紫金山国家天文台

Zijin Mountain National Observatory could be traced back to MING government's creation in 1341. It became a national observatory 40 years later, but still 290 years earlier than the famous Greenwich Observatory. In MIN GUO 1934, the new building that we see today was first created.

Now if you have a chance to hiike Zijin Mountain, you should be able to walk pass this site near the top of the mountain.

1341年明朝建立司天台，1381扩建为国家天文台，早于格林威治天文台290年。1934民国时期正式建设紫金山天文台。现在在紫金山景区内。
